Copyright and credits
Everything on Silkbreath was written, drawn and programmed for Silkbreath. This page explains what that means, what we built on, and how to reach us if you think something here infringes your rights.
Our content
- Text: all exercise instructions and course lessons are original writing. They are not copied or adapted from any book, website, video, app or commercial programme.
- Figures: the animated figures are drawn by Silkbreath's own software from positions we set ourselves. No photographs, video, motion capture or third-party illustrations are used.
- Sound: the bell is generated in your browser. Spoken prompts use your device's own voice.
- Design and software: made for Silkbreath.

Exercises and traditions belong to everyone
Physical exercises, yoga postures, Pilates mat exercises, Qigong and Tai Chi movements, and breathing practices are part of a shared human heritage. We describe them and name them in the ordinary way and claim no ownership of them. Traditional names and historical figures are mentioned for education. Short quotations come from works that are in the public domain, in our own translation.
Names and trademarks
Silkbreath does not use, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by, any exercise brand, studio, certified method or equipment maker. Where a word is also someone's trademark, we use it only in its everyday descriptive sense. If you believe we have used a name in a way that suggests a connection that does not exist, tell us and we will correct it.
If you believe a file stored on Silkbreath infringes your rights, use the process below. We act on valid notices, which can include removing the file and closing accounts that infringe repeatedly.
